11 JANUARY 2005 - COVENTRY BRANCH OF THE HMC


Alhamdulillah, through the grace of the Almighty, we are pleased to announce the opening of the Coventry branch of the HMC.

The branch which is presently looking for a permanent office was set up after HMC was invited by the general public, this was followed up by a series of talks by Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam and HMC, and simultaneously some butcher shops in Coventry expressing interest in selling only HMC certified meat and poultry.

This resulted in the appointment of Hafiz Shoaib Memi who is contactable on 07869 113 461 and Shaykh Imtiyaz Vania who can be contacted on 07788 722 636  as the Coventry-HMC (C-HMC) coordinators.

The middle of December 2004 saw the introduction of the first certified butcher in Coventry, Dayar-e-Madina, 669 Foleshill Road followed shortly by Tariq Halal Meat, 10 Station Street on New Years day 2005.
